Despite previous appeals, the Government’s response maintains a fragmented, setting-specific approach, raising concerns about inconsistent legal protections. Highlighting gaps in oversight, particularly in secure education and mental health settings, the letter calls for coordinated legislative action, aligning upcoming bills to ensure comprehensive safeguards. The signatories seek a firm Government commitment by 14 March 2025.
