Human Rights Gathering 2019: Do you know a 15-17-year-old who can help us shape our future?
14 August 2019
Every year, the Commissioner hosts a Human Rights Gathering so that young people can feed back on his work and suggest ways in which it can improve.
Now we're looking for young people between 15 and 17 to take part in 2019's Gathering, which will take place in Edinburgh between Friday 15 and Sunday 17 November.
It'll be a weekend residential where young people get to make a real difference to the human rights of children and young people by helping us shape what we’ll do over the next four years, by taking part in the process of creating our Strategic Plan for 2020-2024.
They'll also be involved in celebrating the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which turns 30 on November 20 2019.
If you know a 15-17-year-old who's interested in taking part, get in touch on 0131 346 5350 or by emailing [email protected]
