“Drive and demand change”— Commissioner travels to Highland Youth Parliament

Commissioner Bruce Adamson’s at the Highland Youth Parliament ’s annual conference today.

He’s leading a session on human rights with support from the Scottish Youth Parliament, tying into their Right Here, Right Now campaign .

At the session

At the session, the Commissioner will help young people understand how rights relate to issues affecting young people in Highland today, including:

  • support for young people’s mental health,
  • LGBTi issues,
  • issues around Additional Support Needs issues,
  • support and respect for care experienced young people,
  • sexual health, and
  • transport and connectivity.

The session runs from 2 until 4.
