Teachers, youth workers and others who work with children and young people have an important role to play in protecting human rights.
As someone who works with them – as a duty bearer or otherwise – you can help children and young people learn about their human rights, and about the support they’re entitled to when they act as human rights defenders.
If you are concerned that a child may be at immediate risk of harm, please contact your local Social Work Department or Police Scotland (dialling 999 in an emergency) as a matter of urgency.
Our office is not able to investigate child protection concerns.
